Spring has Sprung

We are so excited to welcome
Windy Pines Equine Learning Centre to our facility.

Windy Pines is a not-for-profit equestrian program
with a mandate to open a window of opportunities
for disadvantaged youth and adults
which  includes, but is not limited to:

  • Grooming, and preparing to ride
  • Becoming an effective leader
  • Conflict resolution
  • Team building and communication
  • Participating in clinics or workshops
  • Learning to train a horse
  • Competing at local horse shows

The barn construction at
Coyote Ridge is really coming along and
just needs some finishing touches.  Pat is looking forward to
having an 'in-barn' office and tack room at last.

Murphy and Phoebe have come home after spending a year with
their good friends Janice and Lisa.  It is nice to have them with us
again.  We would also like to welcome Berkley, the cute little
Exmoor cross who is working hard at becoming a therapy pony
for the Windy Pines programs.

Coyote Ridge will be continuing with lessons for the more
advanced students who have progressed over the past year, and
welcoming new students who wish to integrate into the
Windy Pines program to earn their beginner rider levels.
